CONTENT & LEVEL DESIGNER
Design Documentation:
Below are Design Documents and Tests I have created or taken. Many of these had specific criteria or restrictions but left plenty of room for my own design choices. Note: All artwork, design and maps are original creations unless specifically mentioned.
Aeria Games Design Test:
I really enjoyed participating in this design test. It ranged from UI work, Game Systems and MTX. It had a lot in variety of tasks. My goal was to be as thorough as possible. It was completed over three days for well known F2P Mobile Company Aeria Games.
CD Projekt Red Design Test:
This test was to design a multi-level map and flow for a specific quest. Taking place within the district of a major city and utilizing multiple levels I decided to design two-unique city map locations. Within this city, I was to design user flow based on a rough quest outline. All dialogue and quest choices were original concepts by me. It was completed over three days for AAA studio CD Projekt Red.
Cryptic Studios Design Test:
A challenging and rewarding MMO Content Design test with a very strict time limit. It consisted of questions related to tutorial & new user experience, boss battles, quest flow and creating story & dialogue. I was only alloted six hours to complete. It was for AAA MMO Cryptic Studios.
Disruptor Beam Design Test:
Fun UI/UX Design Test for a mobile game. From the images, you can easily figure out what the game was for. The test images are the current live UI for the game and I am proud of my improvements and mockups. It was completed in eight hours for mobile studio Disruptor Beam.
InnoGames:
Content Design Test that was presented in Hamburg, Germany at InnoGames for a spot on their Tribal Wars project. This was for a summer event quest that I turned into a Powerpoint and presented. It was well received and I was offered the position. Great company and people. If you have a chance to work for them I highly recommend it.
Rockstar San Diego Design Test:
Level Design Test for a new console project they are working on. This role consisted of town services and NPC scheduling more than physical level design. I was really proud of this test and it actually earned me a fly out to their studio in Carlsbad, CA. If you read over the questions, you can figure out what game they might be working on next.
